St. Vincent's Convent Sr. Sec. School was founded in the year 1974 by Late Rev. Monsignor Jacob Vadakeveetil, Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Balasore. It is a recognized unaided Christian Minority Institution administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel.
Inspired by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the school believes in holistic education, discipline, moral values and excellence, helping every child become a confident citizen.

From its humble beginning with only 80 students, the school has now grown into one of the leading educational institutions of Balasore with nearly 2000 students. Affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE & ISC), the institution is known for academic excellence, discipline and character formation.
